What an incredible 15 days we have had together! I have been so blessed by everyone that has joined us either in the beginning or along the way. I loved hearing from you and the things God is doing in your relationships with your daughters. I believe so strongly that the time we take to invest in them…in the day to day…through the hard times and the joyous times…is never wasted and will reap rewards now and into the future.
As we close out this time I wanted to pass along some resources to you that I think would be helpful to you as you continue to journey. I have been blessed by many of these myself and I just love the wealth of knowledge and heart that shines through each one.
May I just say what an honor and privilege it has been to travel a part of this journey with you. I would love to hear how God has been working in you, your daughter and your relationship. What things did you find helpful? what has God been showing you? What other ways have you found to reach the heart of your daughter?
Would you be willing to share your experience and insights with me? Or even be willing to share with our Fearless Heart family of readers? If so please drop a line to my e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I can’t wait to hear from you!
Blessings to each one as you continue to “Fearlessly Capture The Heart of Your Teen Daughter!”

Power of Modesty is a great ministry that speaks to our young women today about modesty. Here is a bit of introduction from their website.
“POM is where you find the love, understanding, support, accountability and guidance you are seeking through relationships, while providing a message of freedom and grace that you can only receive through Jesus Christ. The Biblical foundation of the Power of Modesty Ministry is a tool that provides not only fashion trends that are modest for teens, but to provide a platform of purpose and a plan to protect and preserve the sacred purity of today’s teen’s and for them to choose to have a heart for Christ over the culture.”
During day 7 day of the challenge I wrote an article on modesty titled “Modesty Becomes Her” (Click title to read post) and it has turned out to be the most popular post of this challenge. As you continue to encourage your daughter in this area be sure to head over to “Power of Modesty” Website or their Facebook page for relevant information and articles and fashion tips.
I have used this book with all four of my daughters. The first half of the book is for Mom’s and the second half is to read together, either in it’s entirety or in pieces – depending on what you feel your daughter is ready for. An excellent resources and one I Highly Recommend.
For years I have appreciated Stormie Omartian and her powerful books on prayer. I have read several of her books and every time Stormie knows how to truly get at the heart of prayer in these specific areas of our lives. “Power of A Praying” Parent is no different and I highly recommend all of her books.
This particular book came as a wonderful recommendation from a friend who I have come to trust for her insight and honest reviews. This is wonderful devotional for teen girls and one I think your daughter would receive much hope, encouragement and truth from.
“Bringing up Girls” is another wonderful resource I have read and continue to glean from. I have really appreciated Dr. Dobson’s insight into the changes and challenges girls face as they move from little girls into young ladies. This book is filled with stories of parents in the midst of raising daughters as well as important information about the many physical changes happening with our girls during this time. An excellent resource for parents and teens.
I am sure that I could go on and on with resources and books that I have found to be helpful, but for now these are some of my top picks. Maybe you have run across a great resource or ministry to mom’s and girls. If you have, I would love to hear about it. Feel free to leave a comment or send me the information by e-mail.
